Inspired by the original sake cocktail at Japan’s Star Bar
This new Seiko Presage reference joins the ongoing Star Bar series, inspired by one of the world’s leading bartenders, Mr. Hisashi Kishi’s original cocktail, “Houjou,” which incorporates Japanese sake made from the nature-rich countryside of Japan. Its dial design expresses the spirit of that original cocktail, inspired by the golden hues of Japan’s own rural landscape.
That inspiration takes shape on the champagne-colored dial, where its glossy finish and die-stamped pattern evoke the texture of rice fields – the original source of the sake used in the Houjou cocktail. The exhibition caseback of this limited edition reference enables the wearer to enjoy a view of the 4R35 movement.
